The
Board voted 3-2 to appoint Pete Shelton to fill the vacancy left by Paul
Barros's resignation. The other nominee
for the vacancy was Malachy Smith.
How they voted:
For Shelton - Lauth, Pappas, Zubko
For Smith - Definis, Israel
Mr.
Barros reportedly resigned from the Board because someone had slashed the tires
on his car.
Apparently donations are being
solicited to reimburse Mr. Barros for his two tires.
Are victims of vandalism in BCC to
be compensated by charitable donations rather than prosecuting the perpetrator? How about all the past victims? Is this humane gesture to be extended
retroactively?
It has been reported that; "Everyone was disgusted at this
cowardly act against Paul Barros."*
Since the tire slasher was
certainly at the meeting, your blogger feels that not Everyone was disgusted..
Is the identity of the perpetrator
really such a mystery to all of us?

Jim is mearly a puppet for the rest of the merry crowd. Their goal is to "unimprove" the community. Lowre the fees and stop any forward progress that the last board has made. Calling meetings at the drop of a hat. Haulting all work orders and in general going back to the stand still operations we had the last 5 years. What a shame. Lack of reserves will kill us in the future with roofs needing replacing etc. Forward progress is done. Back to buying useless water fountains, ice makers and other stupid purchases.
what was the progress specifically made in the last 3 years. you need to either have some facts or you will be like the other residents part of the problem and not part of the solution. which side do you sit on obviously you don't follow the financial aspects of the community or you would know that under no circumstances has any type board oversight been demonstated with the last 3 years on managing the association money. let me see no real inforcement of rules that have been in existance since bayclony was built,\i.e. pick up trucks, motor cycles, mopeds. perhaps a another opinion of current residents profiles since the approval committee which was only used again last year has had no teeth so for the last 4 years bcc standards have not even closely up held. Where you charlie at the last board mtg prior the election I hav'nt seen one word about how 4 board members that approvd hallway carpet replacement for over $150,000 without even a proposal: the 2 vender doc's for making decision where one estimate and one invoice neither had a scope of defined work and no covered responsibilities for the contractor and nothing to protect bcc in general. The 4 boardmembers that approved this forest where for the record, Phil, bud, Jack and Malacki all voted for invoice vendor which was strongly apposed by almost all bcc residents present,but, it didn't matter.Try an defend this lack of experience and down right unacceptable behavior. Hell of decision for the community huh. Where are you on real issues instead of all this gossip an bs that you speal for the betterment of the community. You will never change just garbage in garbage out. Glad to see you go can't be soon enough
None of us can be that uneducated to think that an ex-board member wrote this.
The answer is the "usual suspect" wrote in the manner of someone else to throw us off. Nah! it didn't work, NEXT!

Seems like she is glad to see you move. It is a free world, she does not HAVE to read your blog. Freedom is king.
This "Star Wonder" has turned on EVERYONE at one time or another. Then she wants to be friends and support you if it is not in vogue.
She existed for the Blog and her "fairytales" she spewed about at the monment.
Now she is glad you are moving Charlie. Now that is the thanks you get for filling her nights with excitement! Sad Sad Sad
