BAY COLONY CLUB - AMENDMENT VOTE

Just got our "Notice of Membership Meeting & Amendment Vote".

There was no random number on the return envelope and the ballot was not printed on safety paper.  Is this just an oversight?  Are we going back to the ballot stuffing that was common before these steps were introduced?

Why not take two simple steps to eliminate any possibility of fraud?

Failure to provide the random number and safety paper is an invitation to those unhappy with the results to contest the vote.  And, no matter which way the votes go, there are going to be plenty of unhappy owners.

Is this really what we want?

If you'd like to stuff the ballot box (either way) the BCC office has additional ballots to hand out.

Folks with foresight (and access to the BCC files) no doubt already have a list of consistent non-voters and a copy of their authorized signature.

Should be an interesting vote to analyze. Reviews of past BOD elections showed some pretty obvious forgeries.

This Amendment vote is a farce. What was the point of spending $1,000 to mail out a proxy asking people's opinions when the things on the proxy don't count? That's probably why no-one bothered to send in their proxies.

Gate bar codes are now being issued for mopeds and motor-bikes, as well as pickup trucks. What's next? Allowing BIG dogs like pitbulls and Great danes to poop and pee on our lawns? Will we next see campers, boat trailers and those big-wheeled RVs too?

I think it's time to move out and find a condo where the management REALLY does manage! Imagine paying over $64,000 for a manager who plays hookey, takes the day off "sick" and is seen Christmas shopping - all on OUR dollar.
Nice if you can get it. I certainly can't in MY job.

And this Board thinks she's doing a WONDERFUL job. We HAD a great manager and the stupid Board let her go and then fired the best front-desk girl we ever had. (BTW, NEITHER of those management people stood outside smoking and ignoring the ringing phone)

Let's see now, I could move out, get some Section 8 tenants (guaranteed income by the government) and kiss this down-sliding place ADIOS!

Our Documents and Rules & Regs are a farce. They're non-enforced, non-existent and simply pretty words on an old piece of paper. No teeth.

This Management and Board has no guts and no glory.
