So nice to be off the board now, and let these new folks have a go at solving our communities problems. Good luck to them

We have a rather unique situation here: this Board is the first in BCC history that is all on the same page.

I kind of like this new law. Every year we have to elect a complete new Board. It just might mean that we will get a better quality of Board member; so many didn't want to run when they saw what (who) was still in power for a second term, and those who WERE still in power for a second term worried about what they would be forced to work with from the election!

I believe that EVERY member of this Board has a college degree of some sort; can't say that about some past Boards!

Amateurs and cab drivers / waitresses can't be expected to know how to manage a budget of 2.5 million properly. Not being a "boss" in a business means they haven't a clue how to deal fairly and properly with employees either.

I expect GREAT things from this Board. We gave them a pretty strong mandate - now just leave them alone and watch them go!
