So...Same old business as usual!
"Dumb" and "Dumber" made it back on the Board. Guess things won't improve this year either.
Looking forward to 2012 - when we can throw ALL the political debris out, locally and countrywide.
The only reason "Dumb" and "Dumber" made it back onto the BOD is because the "DUMBEST" residents didn't do their homework and voted for them!
While some pretty dim bulbs have been returned to the BOD, at least the more infamous thieves have not been.
Based on past managers,"butt kissing, gossiping, answering the phone, and bowing to the whims of our current BOD officers" are always tops on the board's requirements. Evidently they've found a candidate who out-does Sheila's alleged proficiency in those regards. Or why not go with a less expensive alternative?
Not paying the mortgage is OK... the banks and CDO's deserve whatever happens to them. Lets keep up with those maintenance payments though!
With the "Three Blind Mice" running the Board again, BCC doesn't stand a chance this year either.
How about this idea?
The four new Board members form a quorum, vote Wilbur OUT as President, make Bud President, Danielle VP, leave Brady as Treasurer and Malachy as Secretary.
Does it sound like a game plan?
Can't be any worse than what we're now facing!
I can't believe that the guy who got the least number of votes to get on the Board took the highest position. What's wrong with this new Board (already!)?
Are they going to be a knee-jerk vote-as-you're-told Board? A rubber-stamp committee?
We're sunk.
Oh how terrible to say that about Sheila! With all she has to do and have to do it alone, I think to be able to keep a smile on her face is a testament to her wonderful personality. I like coming into the office and seeing a nice, friendly, smiling face. Sheila does a tough job with a great attitude. It is a relief after having the previous manager there, to be able to enter the office and be treated like a person. I think if more of us took the time to get to know her, you'd agree that with all the different residents she has to deal with, she's still smiles and assists everyone. I heard she declined to even think of being property manager. Butt kissing, gossiping, bowing to the whims of the BOD?? That describes most jobs out there!!! I am glad to know that she is there and if she did turn down the job, that's too bad. I think she would be an asset, after all, I would rather have Sheila than a mean, unhelpful witch of a manager like Joanne!!
